Direct flights to the new airport at Corvera connect Europe to the Mediterranean! The new international airport for Murcia, located in Corvera, is scheduled to open this summer with a projected handling capacity for more than 3 million passengers. Among priority destinations which the regional government have planned for Corvera Airport are some of the majour European countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, The Netherlands, Scandinavia and important cities in Eastern Europe. Representatives have already held talks with leading airline companies to attract them to the new airport, including Ryanair, Jet2, Air Berlin, easyJet, Norwegian, BMI Baby together with Spanish carriers Vueling and Air Nostrum.  Some of these companies have also visited the facilities at Corvera. This is excellent news for the people who live, or want to live, at Mar de Pulpi, our latest beach front development on the Spanish Costa Almeria, as the airport is only an hour away!  This means it will soon be even easier for Europeans to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the Mediterranean Sea!
